Blue tube (Sodium citrate)

PT tube is used for blood coagulation testing and is applicable to fibrinolytic system (TP, TCA, TTPA and fibrinogen, etc.). The mixing ratio is one part citrate to nine parts blood. An accurate ratio can ensure the effectiveness of the test result and avoid misdiagnosis. As sodium citrate has very low toxicity, it is also used for blood conservation. Collect a sufficient amount of blood to ensure an accurate test result. The double-walled PT tube has little dead space, allowing for monitoring of vWF, FⅧ, platelet function and heparin therapy tests.
